Death!!!!

Death be not proud,

Our father told us that in time, you’d come about,

Be not proud, for you only see a weeping crowd

For you only hear the screams and the cries.

Be not proud, for our father will dry these teary eyes.

As we celebrate the amazing life she lead,

You celebrate the second of glory you had.

We do not weep because your presence is bad…

We weep for her absence makes us sad.

You may find joy in taking her away from us,

But we’ll find joy in where you took her thus;

We weep and moarn for her passing,

Yet at the same time rejoice for she is with the lord and resting.

Death be not proud for you have done nothing but bring this family closer together,

For you have facilitated the reunion between a daughter and a father,

Our Father, Who art in Heaven.
